nice to stand still and take stock. The Phoenix Metcalf House is the place to do
just that. You know this place is a little different as you approach. First of
all its not obvious! Hidden by trees in a residential neighborhood. As you walk up the path to
the front door ,check with the no frills staff, who are mines of information As
you find your way around you soon realize that this is one of the most easy
going Hostels you've ever been to.
You
enter the common room and are surrounded by original works of art. There
is a piano, and other musical instruments there for you enjoyment.

philosophy and vision of, it's manager Susan and Keith, who
believe that sharing experiences and stories with each other is
half the fun of hostelling!
