Standard Railgun (RG)
Railguns, originally used as a means of transporting ores, inevitably were converted into weapons. Extremely high velocity compared to other projectile weapons, and packs a respectable whallop. Railguns use the LCS for aiming.

High Velocity Railgun (HV-RG)
"Pumped". These projectiles are the fastest objects in space at present. If you can't score hits with the HV-RG, you might consider a career in transport.

Armor Piercing Railgun (AP-RG)
The AP-RG penetrates armor and directly damages the interior components of an enemy ship. Lower velocity than normal, but if you hit, it hurts.

High Explosive Railgun (HE-RG)
Fires high explosive shells. Perfect for those tight Slayer formations.
