Standard Missile (MS)
Fighters in the Hast Belt use a variety of missile technology. The Osis Consolidated "Javelin" Standard Missile is representative of the basic ship to ship weapon. Respectable damage, speed, and tracking ability. When a missile targeted at YOU is launched, your systems will give you a "Missile launch" warning. Each Missile type has its own seeker head. There is no minimum range, but there is a minimum time for each missile to acquire its target. Maximum range varies by type. Standard Missiles have a medium ability seeker and medium range.

High Velocity- Long Range Missile (HV-MS)
Fired from the Assassin Missile ship, the Osis Consolidated "Lightning" HV-LR missile is the ultimate "stand-off" weapon in the Belt. The designator says it all. Does not turn well due to its high speed, and can be dodged if a particularly alert target sees it in time... big "if". Minimal Seeker limits. Extreme range.

Advanced Missile (AD-MS)
Almost as fast as the HV-LR missile, the "Thunderbolt" has far better tracking capability and the most powerful warhead of any missile. Generous seeker limits. Long range.

DogFight Missile (DF-MS)
Used for tight furballs, the "Bloodhound" is not fast or powerful, but is extremely maneuverable and boasts the most advanced seeker head of any missile, courtesy of Vaught Systems. It just keeps coming. Unlimited seeker. Short range.

Stealth Missile (ST-MS)
Not very fast, and it doesn’t have the best tracking capability... but the "Stiletto" is invisible to radar. If you like to annoy the big dogs, send a few of these into their formations. Limited seeker head. Short range.

Anti-Missile Missile (AM-MS)
The heavy use of missiles in the Belt makes this a particularly useful tool. It’s only a shade faster than the HV-LR missile, so rear aspect shots may not get the job done in time. Unlimited seeker. Medium range.

IR Missile (IR-MS)
Another holdover from older technologies, the heat seeking missile does not have an extremely advanced seeker, but is small and light and can hurt an opponent in close. Limited seeker. Short range.
