This is a low resolution image of a full sized tabloid menu Invisible Cafe did for a Mexican restaurant in Boston.

Obviously, this is a modest restaurant, and a simple menu. They originally had a cactus logo that suspiciously resembled their corporate competition. Invisible Cafe suggested that the restaurant should have their own separate identity.

This was my first menu design, as I never really attempted one before- and the client wanted something very simple. Perhaps I desired to create something with more detail.

A good designer offers choices and lets the client decide. Small personal jobs require a level of humility, and sometimes restrictions make the work flow of a job easier.

Elegant frugality is the objective of Invisible Cafe. I want even the most modest establishment to be able to afford my design.
