SCS Renovations / 8/29/2003 If anyone notices the file name of this photo, just remember I am on internship and it ended up in the wrong folder! This is actually the view encountered when you enter the Choir Loft at SCS these days. Most stunning is the lack of organ pipes in the little room with the light on in it. A pipe organ is not something you move about from day to day, and if you consider it, it's one of the few in Metairie. So it's disturbing to not see it about. It's kind of like moving/taking way the belfry. It's a quality instrument; I for one am thankful it is being preserved. I am glad to see the Church is breathing life.
