The links below are for the combined WIS and support documents for the 2001 ML V60i retrofit publication on benzworld.org.  All 2000+ Mercedes-Benz (and earlier models with the D2B fiber optic network) are able to have the V60 phone integration hardware retrofit or installed, despite what your dealer says!  If you select the Phone Bulletins page link to the left I have included the ML and most of the other phone Install Bulletins for MB models and MY's from '00-'05.    You will need to download the appropriate one for your vehicle.  And, yes, you do need to take your vehicle in to the dealership to have the D2B (or MOST) fiber optic network version coded after doing the retrofit unless you are upgrading from a previously installed MB phone.
