Massage started out for me as a way to make extra money when I wasn't performing. Since I was not raised in an affectionate family, I felt very nervous about going into such a physically intimate avocation. I studied at The Santa Monica School of Massage. The course for "Massage Technician" lasted for an intense three months. Besides Anatomy and Physiology there were several hours a day of hands on experience. The more I learned how to caringly touch another person, the more I liked it.
So... if you happen to happen to have 40$ and are in the area and need a warm and caring massage... call me (323) 662-6066
If you are in the U.S. and want a Masseur or Masseuse near you... Try HERE. or HERE Or if you need a massage table and supplies... try HERE for really GREAT music to use during a massage, you can't beat HERE! Then there is always the problem if you don't know HOW to give a massage. I have not personally tried the above links but I think all of them would be good starting points. The main thing about massage is touch. I think everyone likes to be touched. I sure do!!
I have my own kind of spiritual feelings about massage; what it can do for you, how it can touch you on a deeper level than muscle and tendon and how it can communicate. Like to hear about it???
