The simulator <
Vibshock > depends on equations which are based on the
fundamental laws of Physics, of Chemistry, and of Rock
Mechanics. It simulates the vibrations which
propagate through the rock mass starting from the
region of the blast hole, caused by the shock wave
created by the action of the explosion; it calculates
the particle velocity U of the rock at a given
distance D from the blast hole, resulting from the
passage of the shock wave. This vibration is
that which usually causes the major perturbation at
short distance from the hole.
The simulator <
Vibshock > is not yet accessible on the web, but
results of simulations with it can be supplied on
demand. |
