The simulator
Vibmas depends on equations which are based on the
fundamental laws of Physics, of Chemistry, and of Rock
Mechanics. It simulates the vibrations which
propagate through the rock mass starting from the
region of the blast hole, caused by the movement of
the fragmented rock resulting from the action of the
explosion. The user has the option to simulate the
particle velocity due to a single blast hole , or that
due to a number N of holes; one uses the first option
if initiation is one hole at a time with a long delay
between holes , or the second option if N holes are
initiated on the same delay. |
