The simulators
explained up to date assume that the horizontal top of
the bench stretches reasonably far beyond the last row
of the blast. The option <Wall Control> allows the
user to simulate the shock wave stress contours in the
presence of a final wall located at the back of the
bench, at a level higher than the present bench. This
final wall is located at distance D from the face of
the last row of the present blast; its base is at the
level of the top of the present bench. The user
enters the value of D in the slot <Distance Wall to
Face>. This allows him to carry out studies to
control the quality of the final wall, either using To
for a reasonably homogeneous rock mass, or using a
reduced value T(joint) of the dynamic strength for the
joints in a rock mass with weakly crystallized joints. |
