Dr. Pettigrew received his B.A. from Lafayette College and D.M.D. from
Fairleigh Dickenson School of Dentistry. After a General Practice Residency at Englewood Hospital, Englewood NJ., he
went into private practice.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Pettigrew is Dental Director of Horizon
Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey since 1994.
Dr. Pettigrew has lectured extensively in the tri-state area (including
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) on subjects including electronic claims processing and integrating PMS
into a dental office, HIPAA and its impact on the private practitioner, CDT procedure coding, and the CHild Identification
Program.
