The holidays are almost upon us. Book early and have a worry-free Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.

Remember Auntie M's can provide services outside of traditional pet sitting to make your holiday season less stressful for you such as Pet Taxi services and house sitting (including mail collection, security check, plant care).
Pet Sitting Check List
- Consider assembling a box of items for the pet sitter so (s)he does not have to search for it.
- Assemble all dog walking supplies including leash, collar, poop bags, and towels for rainy days.
- List all litter box locations and indicate where scoop, extra litter and litter bags are located.
- Assemble all food that will be needed for your absence and clearly identify which food is fed to which furry child and in what quantities.
- List all food/water station locations and clearly indicate if there are special water instructions (i.e. bottled water).
- Assemble all medications along with administration supplies (syringes, pillers, etc.) and clearly indicate what medications are given to which pet including dosage, frequency and times of days if applicable. Keep refrigerated medications in the fridge but document what it is called and where it can be found.
- In the event of accidents, gather all spot removing products which are safe to use.
- List all special instructions (i.e. watering, mail, lights).
- Ensure security instructions are provided to Auntie M's and any security systems are tested for proper operation prior to leaving on your holiday.
- Double check keys are all in working order and just before you leave make sure the entry point for your sitter is accessible. For instance, if a key is provided to the front door, make sure you have not locked an outer storm door that prevents entry.
- Provide your travel information including locations, phone numbers and dates of your destination(s), travel itinerary and finally your emergency phone number(s) including cell phone, local contact (i.e. family or neighbor) and vet information.

Rates and Service Information
Auntie M's PETicular Care Rates
Training rates are calculated per dog. Otherwise, rates are based on 1-2 pets. Additional pets will result in an additional fee calculated per pet and per visit. Enter values in the green columns of the Rate Calculator spreadsheet (you will be prompted to open as Read Only) to estimate costs for training and/or sitting/walking services.
Pet Sitting/Walking Services
The sitting/walking service includes (as applicable):
- walking, exercise, play
- feeding
- cleaning of bowls
- potty duty
- administration of medications
- first aid as necessary
- plant watering
- mail
- garbage (collection day)
- security
Training
Basic obedience training is offered for your puppy or dog on either a per session basis or as a package. The package includes 7 training sessions and 3 folllow-up sessions to help address any issues that may surface as the owner continues to advance and reinforce training learned. All sessions are one hour long and conducted at the owner's home.
Basic obedience training covers the following basic cues/behaviors and provides the owner with the tools and knowledge to apply them in a variety of situations:
- food luring
- focus
- release
- sit/sit-stay
- down/down-stay
- come
- loose leash walking
- common behavior problems (i.e. house breaking, digging, chewing, barking, etc.)
Please note that a surcharge for holidays will apply depending on when you wish to book your service. Holidays include News Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
In addition, a marginal mileage fee may apply depending on your proximity to Auntie M's. Mileage may also apply for Pet Taxi services.
Please note that discounts are offered for "Frequent Flyers" and for parents affiliated with certain organizations. Only one discount per family and booking allowed. Please call or e-mail for details.
