More Than 10 Easy Things you can do to help change the direction on global warming and help the environment:

Bring in your old sneakers by May 4th (recycling box just outside the RE office) and we’ll get them to Nike.
Sign up for a First Parish Low Carbon Diet group (email concordclimate@yahoo.com for more info)
Switch to green home cleaning products (product information coming soon)
Install another compact fluorescent light bulb (the light plant will reimburse you up to $5 per bulb).
Drive one less place – instead walk or ride your bike.
Eat less meat.
Wash your clothes in cold water
Take shorter showers; use an egg-timer to keep track.
Sign up for a service to reduce paper junk mail.
Turn your thermostat down in the winter and up in the summer by 2 degrees F.
Replace some of your lawn with ground cover.
Increase your recycling, particularly paper and aluminum.
Drink tap water – and buy a Sigg aluminum water bottle.
