Menlo Park station and the West Bay Club building
These two pictures show the view from one of the two HO control
panels.
The green building is a model of the actual club building.
About 100 feet north of the club building, you will find the Menlo Park Station.
Can you say Daylight?
The following are pictures of some of the engines that you may see running at the club.
A PA set in Daylight colors pulling the Shasta Daylight.
SP3000 pulling the Sacramento Daylight and above a reefer block pulled by SP2819.
A GS4 with train 99 just passing train 98.
European you say?
Not to be left out, Europen trains also run at the club, more than just these two pictures. There is a lot of continental Europe and also Great Brittan.
Here we see a Swiss express (yes, the wires are invisible!).
Also a beautiful French Pacific shows up.
HO industrial row
For the War Bonnet Santa Fe fans, here are a few views for your pleasure:
High power modern GE diesels pulling a container train just out of Mt. Peterson Tunnel.
Here is the Chief pulled by a set of PAs coming out of the yard lead, going by the Menlo signal tower.
High Trestle
Above the O scale tunnel exit, there is one of the three HO bridges. Here you see Santa Fe 3781assisting a couple of cat wiskers F9s.
Here we see the HO upper and lower yard, including the engine facilities.
How many scale do you see here? This is the Daylight Parade.
Around the HO roundhouse
The following picture shows the HO engine facilities. Even though steam is gone, diesels are still serviced here.
