This was a cool-looking encampment, called Norseland. I tried to take pictures of some of the more interesting camps, to give a sense of the variety of time periods and cultures represented in the SCA. Besides Vikings, we've got Landsknechts (late-period Germans), Roman legions, Sephardic Jews, Mongols, Scots, Byzantines, Ottoman Turks, Normans... something for everyone.
