Galvanic glides along the trail with Brett, a friend of his Owner Pam

In 1994, Cindy was offered the position
of head trainer at Happy Trails Ranch
overseeing the training of 30+
Missouri Foxtrotters, Tennessee Walking Horses,
Peruvian Pasos, and Paso Finos.

The owners of the ranch hired the best trainers
of each particular breed from all over the USA
to educate her in the gaits and
training methods best used for each breed.

Cindy has adjusted those traditional training methods to
be more horse friendly, and specializes in barefooted horses,
preferring to enhance the natural gaits rather than produce artificial ones.

We offer courses of training
for gaited horses of all breeds
to improve and restore proper cadence to gaits
which have become "sloppy" or rough,
or to establish a proper gait in young, green horses
along with the solidarity of movement
to provide a lifetime of riding pleasure.

We also work directly with owner/rider
to insure understanding of how gaited horses move,
the best methods of riding them to maintain gaits
after training is complete,
and tips for nipping sloppy gaiting habits in the bud
before they get established.

NO artificial methods
NO cruelty
NO soring
NO gimmicks
are ever used to establish or improve gaits

Horses are encouraged to travel naturally and smoothly
to the best of their ability and
within the limits of their conformation and talents.

BAREFOOT horses are preferred,
and we do not accept horses for training which are wearing
built-up, padded, or extremely heavy shoes.

We do not train for showing,
and refuse to resort to inhumane methods
to produce artificially enhanced gaits in a horse.
Family Type Pleasure & Trail Horses ONLY
are accepted into our gaited training programs.

Gait training can be included in the regular
Pleasure & Trail Training programs at no additional cost...
