This is a photo collage made up of elements from The Pirate Museum in Nassau.

SCREENCAP COLLAGE: TOS 1701 with TAS 1701 shields.

This is my idea of what the 1701 would have looked like with visible shield effects.

Collage: encounter with advanced Klingon ships.

With a little moderation of the coloring, the Klingon ships fit in with the STOS era nicely.
