Penny's Race Story

Penny came to us from Selma, OR. I named her Penny because we found over $3 in change in the cab while we were removing the interior. She had been sitting for several months before I rescued her. It took a bit of work to get Penny race ready, but it has been worth it. She did not disappoint when we got her on the track.

It's been a rough season. Granted we only made 3 races, but those were rough races. I've decided to move up to the Mini Stock class. I've purchased a 1974 Mustang II that I've named Sally. I believe State Law requires all Mustangs to be named Sally, but I could be wrong.

Look for Penny to have a new driver next season. Kristen will be behind the wheel when the green flag drops in the 09 season. She will be racing in the Lady Stinger (and maybe Hornet) Series.
