There are some places that have developed secure energy bases in things like 

Nukes, Hydro-electric and 'safer' fossil, e.g. nat Gas.

This is a stability domains, good place to be in, especially looks better in crisis times. 

Question = Does this make moving on from such, much tougher in the long run?
