SCALING is key for solar...

   How much do you want / need?

      Efficiency is useful (motivates) for small instalations, creates demand for super-efficient refrig's.

On larger scale, more manufacture demand may lower prices, by economy of scale.

Questions =

 How much are economy of scale & other manufacture issues impacted by locality (regional)?

 How much will limiting material factors impact solar manuf?    

Also = LiqFuelSolutions are a potential achilles heel for many exciting energy ideas like Solar, that depend on stationary equipment.

Solar seems too diffuse for directly powering electric vehicles (need some ref on this).
