The Redstone Art Foundation and the Redstone Inn will be hosting a Beaux Arts Ball on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 6pm-10pm at the Redstone Inn.  This is a fundraising event for the Redstone Art Foundation scholarship program and a means for some creative pre-Halloween fun.  Participants are asked to come dressed as a famous painting.  If you need help with your costume, Connie Hendrix will be available to give you some suggestions.  Contact Connie at 963-6417 or chendrixstudio@aol.com.

The cost for the evening is $40 each for members of the RAF and $45 each for non-members.  Tables are available for purchase for a group.  There will be music for your dancing enjoyment following the buffet dinner.  There will also be a silent auction with chairs that have been painted and decorated by local artists.  Among other things at the silent auction will also be, lodging package, artwork, jewelry and holiday gift items.  Tickets can be purchased by contacting Linda Cox at 963-1372 or the front desk of the Redstone Inn (963-2526).  There are a limited number of tickets available.  The Inn is offering their lowest lodging rate for ticket holders, making for a very reasonable weekend package getaway.
