Getting Involved

Here are some of the ways you can get involved in helping victims of crime:

Volunteer Your Time

Transportation

Would you be willing to use your vehicle to transport victims from their homes to court and back? We will provide training. Use the contact box below if you want to provide this vital service.

Minor Repairs

After a break-in, some victims have no insurance or other means to secure their homes. Would you be willing to make small repairs on doors and windows for these folks? Use the contact box below if you want to help this way.

Speakers Bureau

Would you be willing to tell your own story or share the needs of others? Speakers are needed for churches and other organizations. Use the box below to indicate your interest.

Watchcare for Meetings

Would you be willing to watch children in our nursery while parents are in meetings? Use the box below to tell us when you could help.

Register for an Upcoming Event

Would your church or other group like to sponsor a seminar for your members? Below is a partial list of topics that can be provided:

A Dollar a Day or a Week?

Would you give a dollar a day, or even a dollar a week, to help victims of crime? If 1000 people in our community did that we could reach hundreds of victims. Please consider support this outreach to victims of crime.

The Peninsula Crime Victims Council operates on the generosity of the people, churches, businesses and organizations of the Peninsula. You may contribute by writing a check to "PCVC" and mailing it to the following address:

Your contributions are fully tax deductible and an annual statement will be mailed to you or your group. Those who contribute $50 or more per year are considered members of the corporation and are eligible to vote at the annual elections. Your support helps us meet our mission of giving service to victims without any cost to them.
