Weather

12/2/2006 - I have decided to stop uploading data from my weather station. I have been having maintenance issues with the sending units for several years. Since these units are on the roof, the resolution to these problems was to climb on the roof, remove the back of the unit and reset it. I have also had problems with corrosion inside these units.

The Oregon Scientific weather station was a great value. It got our family interested in monitoring the weather. It ran for almost five years. Although, I believe there are other weather stations that are more durable. Eventually, we will purchase another weather station. When that occurs, I will start posting weather data again.

So, I will be taking down the weather station and its components. So, if know someone who wants the weather station to salvage a few parts from, let me know. Some of the sending units still work fine and the indoor sensor works fine.
