       *Tsok or Tsog (Tibetan) tshogs

Offer Tsog (collective food offering) on the 10th and 25th of each lunar month.

The Tibetan word 'tsogs' means 'provisions' or 'accumulations' and/or 'feast-offering'.

In this usage, it refers to refers to the 'two accumulations' or provisions of merit and wisdom,

            which are gathered over an inestimable period of time. The fulfillment of the 'two accumulations'

            constitutes the fruition of the path to Enlightenment. The overall purpose of tsog is to distribute

            merit and wisdom to the participants and all sentient beings.

Meaning of Sangha (Practice Group)

"Hearing the Buddha pronounce the four noble truths, the eightfold path, and the links of interdependent origination, the first five disciples understood the meaning of his words; one by one, each attained the state of an Arhat, fully liberated from the flow of the passions and the karma that results from this flow. Their realization established that enlightened knowledge can be transmitted from one person to another, as a flame can pass from one candle to the next, illuminating each according to his potential. This understanding gave rise to the Sangha, the community dedicated to embodying the Buddha's teachings.

The Sangha is the natural expression of enlightened understanding, mirroring the interconnectedness of all forms of existence. The Sangha is the community that continues the Buddha's presence in the world, upholding the model of mindful action and a harmonious way of life. Founded by the Buddha, governed by his teachings, supported by generations of realized masters, the Sangha is a refuge from the attitudes and actions that bind living beings to suffering."

Driving Directions to

PCD Dallas

320 Terrace Drive, Richardson, TX 75081

 Please NOTE: The building is not actually 'on' Terrace Drive, it is just south of Terrace Drive

and faces the back of Maxim’s Restaurant; the Post Office assigned the Terrace Drive address to the building.

PCD Dallas is inside a 2 story tan brick office building just south (facing the back of) Maxim's Restaurant;

Maxim's Restaurant is on the corner of Greenville Ave and Terrace Drive.

The freeway exit from 75N is (Richardson) Main Street; and closest street intersection is

Greenville Avenue and (Richardson) Main Street.

(Greenville is east of 75N and runs parallel to 75N, approximately 1 mile east of the freeway.

The closest major intersection from our location is four blocks south of the center;

at Greenville Ave and Richardson Main Street.)

Traveling north on Greenville Ave, pass Richardson Main Street and continue for approximately 3 blocks.

Turn right onto Terrace Drive at Maxim’s Restaurant,

and then go to the end of Maxim’s parking lot and turn right.

You will then see the 320 Terrace Drive Building in front of you.

The building is not actually 'on' Terrace Drive, it is just south of Terrace Drive and faces the back of Maxim’s Restaurant.

The tan brick office building is almost unmarked (small numbers '320' are on the actual front door of the office building).

The office building is the last structure at the south end of the strip shopping center.

We hang prayer flags outside whenever possible (in co-operation with the other building tenants).

PCD Dallas is on the first floor; when you enter the building, walk straight ahead, past the stairs.
