Philosophy The project/program manager (PM) is the chief supporter of the group.  Recognize that the PM supplies the resources and takes care of all the things that need to be done so that the group (the workers) can do their jobs at maximum efficiency.  The PM sets the tone and defines where the group is headed. The PM is the point of communication between upper management, customer, and workers.  The PM is a leader, coordinator, communicator, diplomat, and supporter.
