Welcome to the home page of Paul S. Kemp.  I am a writer of fantasy fiction, most of it set in the Forgotten Realms setting for Dungeons and Dragons, and much of it featuring my signature character, Erevis Cale. I would describe my style as a cross between sword and sorcery and dark fantasy.

Never read any of my work?  Why, I'm cut to the very quick.  So why not take the The Twilight Falling Test Drive and download the first five chapters of Twilight Falling, the first book of the Erevis Cale Trilogy, for free?  Or, if you're really daring, you could download the first five chapters of Shadowbred, book one of The Twilight War, by taking the Shadowbred test drive.

I've also got a few free short stories and several more sample chapters on the (go figure) free stories and sample chapters page.  So look around, have some fun.
