Yesterday, downtown, a homeless man reached purposefully into a trash can, pulled out a barely touched copy of the Times, shook it off with a frown and moved on.
Urban troubles notwithstanding, even bustle-y, crowded, noisy Times Square has its charm late on a warm, drizzly summer evening.
