*Letters must be written by local residents or
about local issues. If a letter is critical of a local issue, the author must be careful not to defame any individuals. The
Pataskala Post will not publish any letter that openly criticizes individuals by name. If you have an axe to grind with someone,
this is not your venue to accomplish that.
*Letters should be no more than 300 words in length.
*At election times, letters to the editor are
welcome to discuss issues, but not candidates. During the two weeks prior to the election, no negative letters will be published.
*We will make minor spelling and grammatical corrections
to submitted letters. Letters that have serious grammatical problems are not likely to be published.
*The Pataskala Post will not publish letters from
the same author more often than once every 10 weeks, except in a rebuttal situation.
*Letters must be submitted at least seven days in advance of
publication date to be considered.
