A member of the group "CRY" (Clark, Robinson, York), a group
formed as a spin off of the Byrds, (later adding Nicky Hopkins making it "CHRY"), Pat and his partner John York continue to
write and record under the name "CRY".
Pat produces artists in New Orleans including Timothea "The Siren of Soul" and "The Benjy
David Project", currently on the road occationally opening for John Mayer and managed by BMR Management (Bateman, Merrill,
Robinson).
Timothea is joined on her latest album by southern gentleman Leon Russell (who sings a duet
with Timothea titled "I Belong to You" from the feature film "The Ranch") and Walter "Wolfman" Washington (who joins
Timothea in a duet called "Maybe Later").
Timothea's single "In the Middle of the Night" (Beckerman, Robinson) is currently #16 on te
Contemporary Blues charts and her video, "It's Time for Change" (Beckerman, Busch, Robinson) (filmed at the legendary
"Columns Hotel" on St. Charles Ave in New Orleans) is receiving generous amounts of airplay in the blues circles.
Co-owner of "JBond Records" with partner Steve Busch, Pat intends to release 2 cd's
this year by well established writer Le Roy P. Marinell ("Werewolves of London", "Looking for the next Best Thing", "Excitable
Boy", "Model Citizen" and "Things to Do in Denver when You're Dead") .
Pat’s
1983 hit song “Civilized Man” by Joe Cocker was very successful worldwide and “Don’t Drink the Water”,
Joe’s 1986 release followed shortly after.
Percy Sledge’s
memorable “You Got Away with Love” was the single off the “Blue Night” CD that won “Best Contemporary
Blue’s Album of the Year” in 1995 and was re-released on Atlantic Records 50th Anniversary Tribute
CD “The Very Best of Percy Sledge” in 1998.
Gus Hardin’s
country version of “What We Gonna Do” (‘bout what we did last night) became 1985’s “Most Airplay
Song of the Year”.
Fleetwood Mac’s
Billy Burnette released (Robinson/Burnette) single “Ain’t It Just like Love” (later covered by Glen Campbell
on his 1994 CD) as well as “Talkin’ Love” on MCA Records.
In 1989 Pat performed
Del Shannon’s “To Love Someone” on the “True Voices” CD re-released in 1997 with Jackie Lomax,
P.F. Sloan, Gene Clark, Lucinda Williams, Eric Johnson, Carla Olson and John Stewart doing the songs of Phil Ochs, Tim Buckley,
Tim Hardin, Tom Jans and Bobby Darin.
Gene Clark (The
Byrds) released “Mary Sue” (written by Clark, Robinson, and York of “CRY”) on 1990 release of “So
Rebellious a Lover” with Carla Olson.
Gene Clark also
released “When Jokers Are Wild” (Robinson/Holler “Abraham, Martin and John”) in 1991.
Laura Branigan
released 1991’s “No Promise No Guarantee” later to be released on the 1995 “Best of Laura Branigan”
and recorded by Cheryl Pang (after a short run by Pong Kay Lay’s 1994 version) and in the top 100 of the Japanese, Chinese
and Cantonese markets for the following 2 years.
Steven Wayne Horton
(son of legendary Johnny Horton) released three songs (written by Rocky Burnette and Pat Robinson) on his Capitol CD…
“Moonlightin”, “That Woman” and “Gone, Gone, Gone” in 1992.
Feature film “Tomboy”
used Snuff’s version of Robinson/Schock penned “United or Divided” in soundtrack.
Academy Award
winning “Revenge of the Nerds” featured a duet version of “Right Time for Love” by Pat Robinson and
Jill Michaels on CBS Records
soundtrack CD.
Harry Nilsson
and Pat perform version of “Silver Raven” at Lions Share Studios for soundtrack of Tri-Star Picture “Tainted”
in 1991.
Pat started out
at a very young age recording for legendary Bob Keane on Del Fi Records, home of Sam Cooke, Bobby Fuller Four and Richie Valens.
He was writing
and performing his own material at age 11, and after recording several albums (some of which were re-released as “Golden
Nuggets” last year) he went on to join the “Strawberry Alarmclock” with whom he toured for two years as
lead guitarist.
Pat signed with
Phil Gernhard on Warner Bros./Curb Records and recorded 3 albums with his popular LA based
power pop band “Patrick Stagger”, performing locally at Madam Wongs, The Whiskey and The Troubadour.
Pat then signed
with CBS Records/Scotti Brothers and released “An Eye for an Eye” and “Signal
for Help” in the mid 80’s.
Pat was a founding
member of the group ”CRY” (Clark, Robinson, York) in 1984 along with good friends Gene Clark, John
York and Nicky Hopkins.
After the death
of Gene Clark and Nicky Hopkins, Pat and John York have re-recorded the original songs written by Clark/Robinson/York in the
80’s, the last works of both Clark and Hopkins.
“Under the
Silvery Moon” is released on Delta Deluxe Records with Gene Clark, Nicky Hopkins, Rick Danko, John York
and Pat Robinson performing Clark/Robinson co-writes.
CRY is released
in March, 2001 on Coyote Records.
Pat
sings harmony on Radney Foster (Foster and Lloyd) CD with Bob Tucker engineering and Jane Getz producing in 2006. 
Pat has joined
forces
with legendary international painter/ sculptor/architect Brett-Livingstone Strong.
Unique to our mass media age, his level of success is characterized by broad
fame and its attendant myth making, a lifestyle enjoyed earlier in this century by Picasso, Dali and Andy Warhol.
Today, near the height of his career, Brett Livingstone Strong has become an ambassadorial
spectacle of international goodwill... a painter, a sculptor and architect of monumental ideas.
Pat has purchased the famous 5' X 4' oil on canvas original
of "Marilyn Monroe", with an exact reproduction of Marilyn's signature, hand and footprint impressions from the
famous Mann's Chinese Theatre Forecourt in Hollywood, originally made on the 26th of June, 1953.
The painting was unveiled by Andy Warhol in 1985.

This collaboration marks the beginning of a period of growth for Pat, who
is himself an accomplished portrait artist.
The important Fine Art Limited Print Series of "A Tribute to Marilyn Monroe", a Limited
Edition of only 300 reproductions being produced, celebrates and commemorates the talents of an individual who has
made lasting creative contributions to our society.
The estate of Marilyn Monroe along with Mann's Chinese Theatre have given their joint

Pat and his co-writing partners... Jane Getz, Elise Lebec, Steve Busch, Tim Cooney,
Jimmy Gunn, Brad Coleman, Jennifer Miller, Jennifer McNutt, Michael Georgiades, Shannon O'Neill, Robert Varney,

some of the best female vocalists/performers in Hollywood... combining the efforts of their two recording studios.
Some of these artists are Christine Rosander, a beautiful and talented writer/performer
and "Female Vocalist of the Year" LA Music Awards Nominee, Susan Toney, a down to earth gospel/pop writer/performer, the very
sweet and pretty 19 year old Shannon Haley, a country/pop music natural, in or out of the studio and Jennifer
McNutt, a dynamic singer/songwriter and talented 12-string guitar performer, who is accompanied by upright
bass and drums.
