Hi! I'm Ruth; welcome to my Zorro
fiction page. Zorro inspired me to try my hand at writing fiction,
and besides the works on this page, I've completed three novels and am
working on a novelette.
I currently live in west Texas, where
the Air Force stationed my husband, my marriage partner for twenty-one
years. He has since retired from his fighter pilot life and now flies
for Southwest Airlines. I grew up in an Air Force family and was
born in England. This is the third time I've lived in Texas, but
have also lived in New Mexico, South Florida twice, South Korea twice,
and Hawaii, but I did most of my growing up in Colorado, when my dad was
stationed at the Air Force Academy as the swim coach. I graduated
from the University of Colorado.
My adorable husband--my inspiration
for writing romance scenes--graduated from the Air Force Academy, and we
began an adventurous life of moving and travel. Our children, boy-girl
twins, were born during our first tour of Korea. They are currently
eighteen and in a private school after being taught at home by me from
kindergarten through ninth grade.
I love to travel and am a certified
scuba diver. I play the piano, tutor higher math, have a home craft
business (it's seasonal, though--Christmas stuff), but my most important
hobby is fencing. I'm a rated competitor and coach and fence all
three weapons. I lead the local fencing club, which is primarily
a recreational group, and I compete at tournaments all over the region.
Thus my interest in Zorro!
My life so far would be worthless
without my Savior Jesus undergirding me and everything I do. To Him
be all glory, honor, and praise! I hope you will be able to see evidence
of my faith in my writing.
