JUSTINE LIMPUS PARISH is a fashion illustrator, designer, educator, art director, and published
author of her own textbook "Drawing the Fashion Body" and regular contributing writer for Belle Armoire Magazine. Educated at Art Center College of Design and The Academy of Art University, she holds a BFA in Painting and
Drawing.
Justine is an instructor of Fashion/Costume Design/Illustration at
Art Center College of Design, Otis College of Art & Design Summer of Art Fashion Program, and Mt San Antonio
College. She has taught fashion at a number of Southern California colleges,
and is currently on the fashion dept. advisory councils of three Los
Angeles colleges.
Justine created the Fashion Dept. at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and served as
it's first Dept Chair. She was Art Director for Liberty House of California. Justine has
also been a free-lance fashion illustrator in San Francisco and Los Angeles. She
is the illustrator of "Color with Style" by Donna Fujii and author/illustrator
of her own textbook "Drawing the Fashion Body".
Designer of her own special occasion clothing line, Justine's most
extravagant pieces have been shown at a variety of art to wear fashion shows.
She was twice awarded Best of Show at DESIGNED TO WEAR. She has been a regular
exhibiting designer for the BERNINA FASHION
SHOW ,and a winner of the NICHE AWARD FOR CLOTHING. One of her award winning
pieces appears in the gallery section of FABRIC ARTISTRY, a Singer Design Series
book.
An exhibitor in the 2005 exhibition in San Francisco, ARTWEAR:
FASHION & ANTI-FASHION her work is also in the catalog. Justine curated and had exhibition garments in the 2005

Justine is a member of The Costume Society of America, past President of The Wearable Art Connection
of Southern California. Justine currently shows her collection at her primary
showroom in Los Angeles, Cicada in San Francisco and other specialty boutiques in the USA. She showcases her work in Southern California at The Palos Verdes Art Center twice yearly fashion show.
