A Pan American DC-8 (N801PA MSN 45254) loaned to Panagra (which was half owned by PanAM). Sometimes weather or maintenance requirements required the use of one of Pan American's DC-8's for Panagra's flights. Pan American did not have flight authorities in the countries served by Panagra so the Panagra maintenance shops had Panagra stickers that could be easily applied to any PanAm aircraft that ended up on Panagra routes. (Thanks to Jorge Mauro for this bit of history.)
