Panagra's Curtis Falcon (NC 7465) purchased in 1936 from Charles Lindburg, who no longer wanted it. The Falcon with a Cyclone 550 horsepower engine, was a "hot" aircraft. Intended solely for the mail run over the Uspallata Pass, it carried one pilot, the day's mail and a lot of gasoline.
