2009 SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNTIL OCTOBER 1, 2009 Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego and Filipino-American Lawyers of San Diego will grant at least four scholarships to eligible individuals to take the California State Bar examination in February 2010 or July 2010. The scholarship amount will assist in covering the cost of the Bar Exam. The deadline is December 1, 2009. Eligible individuals must: 1)  meet the requirements for taking and will be taking the California State Bar exam given in February 2010 or July 2010; and 2)  currently attend or have graduated from any accredited law school in San Diego County.       Selection factors include but are not limited to: financial need; scholastic/academic standing; past, current or future public service to the Asian/Pacific Islander community and other diverse communities. Scholarship applications will not be accepted until October 1, 2009 Scholarship recipients will be honored at the 2010 Annual Dinner.
