Dear David,
It's been three months since my dig with PaleoDigs, Inc..
I wanted to write to you to tell you how much I enjoyed
my experience, and to update you on my fossil prep work. The Oredont skull needed no prep other than gluing the occipital
areas back together. This skull is otherwise in perfect shape, quite a bit better than other specimens in local museums. I
have shown the Messohippus toe bone to many people who remark at how it fits on top of a penny. I am still working on the
turtle that you identified as a Stylemys. He's coming out in one piece, but its slow going.
Its difficult to convey to someone who has not gone on a
dig, how very exciting the experience is. Discovering the fossilized remains of an animal that lived millions of years ago
is treasure hunting at its best! I didn't expect such good food and accommodations either. I've been on five digs so far.
PaleoDigs was the best by far. In any event, its all a very interesting contrast with my law practice. Let me know if you
put together an early Cretaceous dig sometime.
Regards,

Dave,
Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this incredible
experience. I found several nice pieces for my collection. The best was my oreodon skeleton. It will take some time to prepare
it for display but I have acquired an air scribe for that purpose that you suggested. Your classes on Prep work were excellent.
I never thought I would ever have a piece like this in my own collection.
I am the envy of my rock club.
Respectfully,

Dave,
I wanted to thank you for the restoration work that you did to my fossils.I am not even
a rock hound, but when I heard about your dig, it sounded like a great adventure. I felt like Indiana Jones. I have my Rhino
skull mounted in a custom coffee table, under glass. It is a great conversation piece.
Thanks again,
Alan
