Some families know a great deal about their
roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record what I've learned about our family history. In these modern
times, families tend to be scattered all over the country, if not the world. One of the goals of this web site is to help other
branches of our family discover the rich past that is ours and ours alone.
My name is Robert Scott Patrick, and I was born and raised in the Great State of Texas by two loving
parents.
My mom was not born in Texas, but she got here as soon as she could.
Dad, however, was a different story. He came from a persistent clan that first set foot
in the Lone Star State in 1828, before it was a Republic. I'm quite proud of my Texas roots, and that has contributed
to the creation of this web site.
I'm honored to have qualified as a member of both the Sons Of The Republic Of Texas, and the San Jacinto Descendants. These organizations are dedicated to preserving the Heritage of the Republic of Texas.
I would recommend both to anyone who can qualify. If interested, just click on one of the organizations names above and
discover what is required to join.

Acknowledgments
I would like to thank my Aunt Mary and Uncle Pat, for their never ending passion of preserving the family and
its history. All my life, they told me wonderful stories about our family. I think they were
instrumental in my taking up the cause, and making sure the PATRICKS are remembered.
