As we paddled up the river we saw threer ospey nests with adults and young ones. We saw one young one being fed. Five cormorants were observed in one tree and two in another going up and coming down. A small alligator was sunning himself on the way up and a large one swam ahead of us on the way down and disappeared below the surface. |

Near Webb Apartments we met James Carter. Levone and Wil were trying to get a huge tarpaulin up and out of the water and could not do it. James brought his tractor over and pulled it out for us. James is going to paddle with us in the future. |
