Well, it's getting close.  Been busting my butt getting ready.  In addition to repairing the ravages of 1 1/2 years on the hard, I've been adding systems for cruising, a new battery box with more batteries, an inverter, a new electrical sub panel for the things that will only run from the house batteries, a larger bilge pump, new tiller with modified rudder head connection.  Not everything is done but I know everything will work and Circe is seaworthy, if a bit shabby looking.  I've left cleaning for last.  I'll have a month under way to do that.  I told my wife that all would be well if I had another 2 days.  She replied that if I did, I'd want another 2.  I guess she's right.  Tomorrow morning I'll clean up and do whatever else I can get done and then spend the afternoon loading provisions.  Tomorrow night sleep on the boat and Friday early off for the firat short leg to Manasquan, NJ.  Should be just right for a shakedown.
