We will research subjects for you. If you would like research other than those mentioned in the index please contact us and we will see what we can do, or put you in touch with someone who can. Fees will be discussed at the time we are contacted with your request and an estimate submitted to you before work is begun. We do not charge, as so many do, strictly by the hour and take into consideration the ease of research in some cases. Generally we charge by the half hour and round our fees down in order to make this service affordable. You will receive an itemized report of all expenses and copies of receipts relating to the research. And pay after the research is complete.

Genealogy
Genealogy is not an exact science and can take time. Our goal is to be complete and thorough. We can help you with that dead end or put together an entire family tree for you. You will receive all certificates, documentation and a synopsis of the facts learned. For an additional fee we will include a narrative relating the story of your ancestors. We don't buy these from a warehouse, but write them ourselves based on facts learned while searching for the documents that prove your ancestors and our work.

We are not a travel agency. However if you would like to have us research a vacation or specialized trip for you we have the capability. Many times a travel agency can make arrangements for you as usual but if you require special information or research done we can build a personal brochure for you, including your interests as well as general information.

Fee Information:

• $8.00 Per half hour
• One hour Minimum
• Travel time charge if over 30 min. (Most of our work is performed locally so travel time usually wont apply. There may be some occasions that 1 to 2 hours of travel will be necessary under unusual circumstances. Of course if you want to pay our way we'd be happy to fly to Washington D.C. or almost any other place in the country to do onsite research, take photos, or visit possible leads.)
• Other expenses: Micro Film, book rentals, vital records retrieval, shipping or mail, long distance phone charges, photography, coping, binding, .

Vital records ( birth, marriage, death certificates) range in cost from $2.00 to $20.00 depending on the the county or state. Wills and land records also vary by county and state Federal records (military) run $12.00 to $20.00
