Yes, the map cases were delivered. Library assistant Alice and student assistants John and Lester are busily filling them with USGS topo quads for the entire U.S. Salim, Mabel, and Ross completed their trip to MapLink, where they selected several thousand replacement maps.

Meanwhile, back at Dole, Dave, Karen, and Lydia have been madly shelving and linking congressional hearings. Mark has put out a bid for additional shelving at Dole. Karen and Dave have organized our oversize books, and Karen, Shawn, and Janelle have made great progress in filing the microfiche in our new cabinets.

We are expecting 300 boxes of UN books from Central Library in Philadelphia next week. On top of that, we're getting a large collection of UN material from Wesleyan University. Not to forget the NASA microfiche that University of Kentucky has put in the mail. Carol is also preparing an order of Foreign Broadcast Information Service microfiche.
