Fee, Fi, Fo, FAO
The latest shipment of replacement documents is from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, aka FAO.
Dave Bowman has worked himself into a frenzy getting them all processed. At the same time, I cataloged our holdings of Contributions
from the National Herbarium, which date back to the early 20th century.
We are slated to receive the Pacific maps that were sent to Belfor for treatment next month. This is great news, because it
means that the only flood-damaged maps left to be cleaned are the Rare and Hawaii maps, which are rapidly being treated by
our Preservation department.
