My intent is to provide a place to document the progress we're making (or not making) in replacing the 3 million maps, aerial photographs, and government documents that were damaged or destroyed in the 2004 Hamilton Library flood.

Welcome, and farewell (for now)

The Government Documents & Maps Department welcomes Linda Tawater, our new flood recovery library assistant. Linda is in the LIS program at UH and is eager to apply what she has learned in cataloging class. Welcome, Linda!

I will be on vacation June 21-July 21 (in Germany and England) so no posts for a while. Will you miss me while I'm gone?
