Yuri, Lori, and I have been trying to put all of our congressional hearings in order. We must combine three sets of documents:
the ones that were salvaged from the flood, the ones we've gotten as replacements from other libraries, and the new ones.
Complicating the task is the fact that half of the replacement copies we've received are classified in Library of Congress,
not SuDocs, so we must look up the SuDocs number for each item in order to know where to shelve it.
The hearings are a wonderful source of information and entertainment. For us Baby Boomers, they provide a trip down memory
lane: Sandinistas, the savings and loan crisis, apartheid, laetrile, etc.
