My husband Steve and I just returned from a trip to UH Hilo Library, which is giving us about half of their government documents collection, a benefit for both us and them. They are providing replacements for much of the material from the 1960s-1980s that was destroyed in the flood. At the same time, we will catalog the material and it will be available to anyone in the region. Still to come are oversized books and microfiche.
