What's that, you say? M&M's at Dole Cannery? Yes, we have a multicolored collection of congressional hearings from the University of Chicago Law Library. Red, green, blue, orange, yellow, brown -- they're all there! You can view them if you come to our work day on March 31 from 9:00 to 12:00. We'll be opening and sorting the Belfor boxes, which contain not only government documents but also material from the University Archives and Gifts & Exchange. Come along, it'll be fun!

Finally, almost a year and a half after the flood, we have installed 120 replacement map cases on the first floor of Hamilton Library. Miracles will never cease! Next, we will request that Belfor send us the cleaned maps they've been holding. In May, those maps will be filed into the map cases, along with other maps cleaned by Preservation and replacement copies we've accumulated.
