If anyone is wondering why we can't get books ordered or processed, it's because we spend so much of our time compiling
data for various purposes. This week, we've responded to the following requests for data:
1. How many patrons would we have served if the flood hadn't happened?
2. How much space are we going to require in 2, 5, and 10 years?
3. How many maps did we send to Belfor?
4. How much of the funds we encumbered in June have been spent?
Needless to say, this situation is VERY FRUSTRATING. We barely have time to review offers lists, much less get anything
unpacked. Patrons are being shortchanged, too, because we don't have adequate time to spend on their questions. On top
of that, we spend a lot of time on the logistics of getting things shipped here and paying for postage reimbursement. When
will it ever end?
