We just received a shipment of replacement Statutes at Large volumes. The Statutes at Large are the public laws of the
United States, so if you want to read the text of a law as it was passed by Congress, we have it.
We have accepted a large collection of Congressional material dating from the 19th century from a library in Florida.
These volumes contain reports and documents of Congress as well as many important maps. The material will be shipped here
in September.
One of our fellow depositories is giving us their entire collection of Congressional hearings on microfiche. We had a
substantial collection of paper hearings, and we are still seeking paper copies of hearings from certain committees such as
Indian Affairs and Foreign Affairs -- especially those relating to the University's areas of excellence.
