Better known to those who knew and loved him as
Charlie Bear
Feb 25 2001- March 18 2008

Charlie just can't get enough of the water!

On this warm summer day Charlie retreived over a dozen times

Charlie Bear suffered from Lung problems after he had won the battle over Valley Fever.  The after effects to his lungs would cause him many problems and eventually a removel of his left lung lobe.  Charlie had such a Zest for life we had to give him as many years as his lungs would allow.  We bought him 3 wonderful years for Charlie to live on our 20 acres.   Charlies most favorite thing in the world besides food was to Swim!  He was a great and strong swimmer, but eventually he had to wear a life vest, he did not care as long as he could swim!

OTCH Knights Little Kelly Girl

UDX, TDX, AX, AXJ, VCD3, WD, SH, FM

My Little Kelly Girl, was the light of my life,  she gave me all of her heart and soul. She put everything she had to giving me a good performance in all events we trained and entered in. I am Proud and honored to have had this lovely little dog in my life. She taught me so much and I still had more to learn,  her greatness will live on in her memory and her puppies.
Thank you Kelly for all that you gave me, your love will be felt in my heart for the rest of my life.
I have traced Kelly's pedigree back to the famous Artru show line,
Kelly truly did the breed proud!
Kelly was the first American cocker to earn the AKC versatility 3 title, and one of the few cockers to earn an OTCH, UDX  in AKC obedience, and to follow all that up with a Senior Hunter title.  Kelly was a truely amazing little dog!.

Knights Angelina My Lady UD
angie1.jpg
1990-2003

Angie was a rescue from a breeder. She had fears of people, children, noises, and anything new. The kind of fear that she would flee all she could focus on was the fear she would make herself ill with fear.. With over a year of behavior modification with clicker training, I was able to show her and she earned her UD, but most important was she was a happy dog and lived to 14 years old in our home.

OTCH Daisy Girl X TD
image198.jpg
1983-1995

Daisy was my first obedience trained dog.  To earn an OTCH with your first dog is amazing, Daisy made up for all my novice mistakes, she was an amzing cocker spaniel,  I owe her for starting me off in this great journey of dog sports. She was truely one of a kind.

Not Pictured is Dana's Mr Sniffles CD earning a 198 in his first obedience trial, was sure to be an OTCH, but was retired before we could show in Open due to epilipsy, but lived to 13 years old a very happy dog.

Daisy's Sahra CDX, a lovely little dog just like her mom Daisy Girl, owned, trained and shown by my daughter Dana as a junior handler.

Workmans Tina Turner UD
image020.jpg
1986-1999

Tina was a rescue, she came to us at 14 months old, she was a very loyal companion, got on well with all the cockers. I often think about another Dobe, but I don't think I could find one that would measure up to our Tina Turner.
