Cars
I've been thinking about cars lately. When I first got involved with cars they were relatively simple. They had beam axels front and rear they hardly ever needed aligning, no computers, no fuel injection That said they were still money pits. Now-a-days when you buy new tires chances are (no chance about it) you'll need a wheel alignment, both ends, 4 wheel independent suspension remember, you'll be lucky to get out of there with both arms & legs. That Damn computer! It keeps putting little messages on your dash, CHECK ENGINE. I've come to hate that one. Why doesn't it just say what it means, THIS IS A STICK UP, GO GIVE YOUR MECHANIC ALL YOUR MONEY! If you try to ignore it it will enrichen your fuel injectors so you use up all your gas (don't ask how I know that). Another thing that annoys the Hell out of me is the computer treats you like a dummy.... It won't let you shift into gear without your foot on the brake, it locks all the doors when you drive, it beeps if you forget to take the key out. the thing watches you like a hawk.
