Our latest team to travel to the school in Chichi has returned home safely.  While visiting the school, our team worked hard assisting in the construction of the new classroom building.  While there, they dug trenches and holes for the foundations, and learned how to wire together the steel reinforcing bars (re-bar) that will become the major support structures for the new building.  But before you begin to think that our team did all work with no play, we can assure you that there was still time to visit with the girls, and we have the pictures to prove it.  We hope to have some photos uploaded to this site in the very near future, and another video clip is in the works.

A small group of parishioners left for Chichi this past Saturday morning (August 1, 2009).  While in Chichi, they will be assisting in constructing the new classroom building.  Please pray for our missionaries that they will have a safe journey to and from Chichi.

 

In other news, a web link has been placed on the photos page.  This web link will take the viewer to a video on YouTube ®.  The video is a six (6) minute review of our medical mission to Chichi last year.  We hope to post more videos in the near future which will give the viewer a feel for Guatemala and life at the Internado.
